So it’s been a little while since O2 announced their new Ultimate Plan and was wondering if anyone here had taken it up or what your thoughts are.

Have you roamed on it yet and it work fine including the 2Mbps speeds outside of EU?

Hell no, not at those stupid prices, I asked in store when the wife did here switchup, the other week, and they said they haven't sold a single plan (this is a very busy flagship store).. and going on how many people have asked on here, I think its a niche of a niche product.. and can be done cheaper...

Would have to agree at face value looking at the numbers.

Not quite as bad if you wanted insurance anyway but if not then prices are really high. Also not helped you can’t get any discounts on it like multi line discount or friends and family due to it including insurance so don’t think they are allowed.

Unlimited MMS is pointless soon with iPhone getting RCS so no one will send an actual MMS

Roaming is handy I guess if you go abroad a lot outside of the EU to places like Egypt Turkey or Dubai but wondering what the limit is on how long you can use abroad. I know usage is unlimited and speed capped for daya but not seen rules on if only works x amount of days before you have to return home

To me its just a multiplay plan...

And I can't see the £30+ value over the normal plus plans, and a lot of people get insurance included with there bank accounts, so no sure what the proposition is from o2

I can't see anything in the terms either to be honest...

I suppose the maximum time spend abroad will be the usual 63 days (per 'holiday')

If it was longer, O2 would have mentioned it as a selling point as people often work abroad for long periods.
