Whatever happened to Saturday night tv? In fact whatever happened to tv. I get more entertainment burning the egs off spiders then hitting them with whatever is at hand! I've just realised that spiders are so much bigger these days. Mind you, I stood on a baby spider and the mother seems to have brought all her family to lay seige at the back door and the front door. Every time I go out I have to scrape the webs offa ma face!

Thanks for making my skin crawl @jonsie. I hate and am scared of spiders. All insects and spiders really, though I do like butterflies. But spiders, if I see one in my flat I have to kill it. Can't stay in my flat knowing there's one scuttling about whatever the size.
As for TV, there are numerous shows I enjoy watching, hence the square eyes 
But I do agree, with a few exceptions, they don't make programmes like they did in the 60s and 70s. Fewer channels then but a lot of must-see television. Guess my standards have got lower with age
