I can't say I noticed, @Cleoriff, and I did use my phone 2 or 3 times during the day for calls to another O2 phone, without issue (apart from the other person being in an area with poor signal anyway...)

Ah well, I did read about it elsewhere, and I do hope it's all fixed now, for every one of O2's loyal subscribers.

It appears to be fixed now @pgn

Although O2 claimed it was a 40 minute outage, mine was off for nearly 5 hrs. rolling_eyes

It was posted during the O2 outage yesterday. We had so many people posting about the issues, this thread was started initially for those who weren't affected.

Though as you can see plenty of people joined in, even those who had problems.joy

It just made a change from the 25+ threads started about phones not working

@CleoriffIs right @pgn I kept seeing the same threads over & over again. Although funny at first.. I felt sorry for @Bambino keep giving the same reply. I think I saw a thread mentioning a total of 15... and thats where the ‘stand up and (not) be counted’ line came in. It wasn’t so much about not being affected, more about not adding another ‘samey’ post to the mayhem.. a sanctuary, and a bit fun too.

Tbf I don't know if I was affected because I never tried to make a call, or send a text 😛

I had a lovely pm from a member of the forum staff today thanking me for a ‘positive thread’ in the midst of so many complaints, which was great to receive, but it was down to the good folk who got it and joined in.. so thank you to you all!

Neither had I @Cleoriff. But then I was asleep and my phone was switched off. Though when I turned my phone on emails from the community came through fine and I logged on to the community, no problem. So either my phone wasn't affected, or the problem was sorted by the time I turned my phone on. First I knew anything was amiss was this thread and poor @Bambino's many replies to disgruntled customers. Then, of course, I heard all about it on the news.

So thank you @Anonymous for keeping some of us in the loop. Clearly I was also slow to know what was going on. My excuse: I slept through it all joy
