Texting and calling abroad

Hi, 

I am on a sim only 12 month contract, will I be charged extra to text and call a friend who is abroad in Europe at the moment? Also will it charge me more to recieve their texts and calls?

If your friend is using a UK network mobile (and sim) the costs to you will be the same as if your friend was in the UK, no extra. However it will cost your friend to receive calls from you but not texts.

You won't get charged at all for calls and texts from your friend.

My friend is on a UK mobile (vodafone i think) so thats great, i can text them as much as i want and neither of us will be charged!!

No there isn't any charge for texting them. Not sure whether Vodafone will charge your friend for texting you, depends on their tariff but won't affect you at all. Text away!:smileyhappy:
