Hi there,

I received the text message from '02 Contract' said 'your contract will be suspended if your PAC code is not updated. Login to My02 to make the required chages: o2-updates.co.uk your payment method has expired'

But when I logged in to O2.co.uk site to see my payment. My card is still there and active. Also my lastest payment has gone through.

Please let me know if that was the scammer or not?

Thank you,

Nitta

Hello @Nitta

I am  a new member to the o2 community.

I think you are very wise to ask here and also

to have checked on your MYO2 account

You obviously know not to press on any links

my thoughts are it must be some sort of scam.

If everything is in place, there is no need to worry,

if it were me I would delete the text.

If you need to contact o2 contact Customer

Service directly and speak to them with their

proper contact phone numbers if you

have any concerns at all.

All the very best to you JAZZ

Yes it's a scam going round. Forward the text to 7726 which is the O2 scam number.

I have just received this text message - but I clicked on it in error...

It took me to a page that asked me to login into My O2.

I didn't put in any of the information as I thought it didn't look right. Sadly I didn't think this when I received the text message as it was in the middle of the night! I have cleared safari history and web data.

Please let me know if you think there is anything else I should do apart from the usual of changing my online passwords.

Thanks!

@JK2

No need to do anything as you didn't input any data.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
