As the 4.4.2 updates have been rolling out across the S4, I9505, it feels like forever since O2 released the 4.4.2 to this phone. Was looking on Sammobile and other UK network providers have been releasing improvement/bug fixes/security updates which still keep it as version 4.4.2 (in fact Vodafone, BTU, have released 4 or 5 updates to the I9505) but only 1 software update has been released to the I9505 (O2-UK) which is the first initial update to 4.4.2
I have recently seen on sammobile that O2 have released another same version of 4.4.2 to the Samsung galaxy S4 mini LTE - but nothing for the GT-I9505 yet? Why? Will this phone be next? I just want the update to solve problems with the S4.
Also does anyone know roughly when we will get android lollipop?

To help clear some confusion up - a good portion of minor updates which keep the same version numbers are likely network related fixes and bugs specific to that networks own version of the update.
For instance. an S4 on O2 and Vodafone may both be 4.4.2, but one of the networks may produce more maintenance updates than the other which may be required for network performance, network security, or perhaps to fix minor bugs that the network may have introduced during their testing/approval. Don't forget too that many networks often include some of their own apps - the updates you see could also be to update those apps.
Don't worry, you're not missing out on anything with these - you may see 100 updates for another network and it's possible none of them relate to any other network.

@Chris_K is the only one who knows what O2 are doing, so I'm sure he will update when he can.
Samsung are saying 5.0 will be released around end of Jan/Feb next year for the S4 but again, O2 will have to approve it so we'll have to rely on Chris for updates there too.......

"Other Samsung handsets may have to wait a little longer, however we'd expect that most high profile devices released in the last 18 months to 2 years will get the update, including the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Mini.
Sources close to Sam Mobile suggest that Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S4 will be getting an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, with the Exynos variant (GT-I9500), which runs Samsung's own Exynos 5 Octa SoC, getting the update first.
It is rumoured that the Galaxy S4 will be updated sometime in early 2015, though Samsung has yet to officially announce any plans."

Just noticed this post @Chris_K Thanks for that explanation. I was totally unaware of this...
