Hi all,
For the past week now I have been trying to swap my grandad's Virgin Mobile number onto a new O2 Nokia SIM card. The number has been swapped successfully as far as I know but whenever I try to ring it from my own phone I get the "call rejected" message. Do I need to activate the SIM card somehow? If so, how please? Annoyingly there are no instructions included about activating it. This is rather urgent too as he currently has no mobile phone until this one is sorted and fully working.

If its a pay monthly SIM that arrived by post, then you need to call O2 to confirm safe arrival.
If its a pay and go SIM then you need to follow the instructions in the little blue book. (ie. Top-up and choose a tariff)
