Rollout of 4G

When is O2 going to rollout 4G - or even 3G - to my area? The local mast is shared I understand with EE who have upgraded their network to 4G here while us O2 customers are still on 2G. I am very tempted to go over to EE

Only O2 know the planned roll-out and they won't publish a schedule. You would have to contact o2 directly though and even customer service have no idea. You may need to check out the other networks for better coverage.l

You are correct, @jwood42, according to the coverage checker https://status.o2.co.uk/ If EE already has 4G coverage in your area, and that's important to you, it's time to switch. You could be waiting a long time if you choose to wait for O2 to upgrade.
