Hi - like several people before me I have just received a text message - purportedly from O2 saying:-

"Hi. It looks like you recently sent your first premium text (SMS). Just in case you didn't know, this sort of text isn't included in your tariff.  To check your charges and stay on top of your bill, head to My O2:  <Link Removed>"

This is a worry because I have not sent any texts today, but I was experiencing difficulties in e/mailing some photographs.

Is this some kind of scam - and am I - like others on this thread - going to be charged £3.75?

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and report it free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information.

@TonyT I will recommend you don't click on any link in the sms you received. If you have the O2 app then view your tariff charges there. You can also log in to your myo2 account and check. These things might be a scam so beware
