Hi,
My church's website, thecrowdedhouse.org, seems to be blocked by O2's on-by-default adult content filters, as implemented on my mobile broadband (Pay Monthly, SIM only). There is no adult content on the site. The error message says that "posting in the O2 forums" is the way to get unblocked. So here I am. What happens next?
(Incidentally, I want to register an objection to:
- The principle of on-by-default content filters
- The principle of automated blocking (I find it very hard to believe that a human
directly approved the blocking of the church site)
- The complexity and difficulty of contacting O2 to get unblocked - why not have a
form directly on the blocking page?
)

Hi munckles,
I'm not interested in fixing the problem for myself, I want thecrowdedhouse.org taken off the blocklist. I've reviewed the page you link to and I can't see anything about how to do that. Am I missing something?

In that case it's probably best to email O2:

Or write to them:

I'm not sure if you eventually got this resolved Gerv, but I encountered the same problem at work; I finally got it resolved after many hours searching the internet and talking to people at O2. I've written a blog post all about how to get a site reconsidered by O2 on my blog at http://abertram.com/blog/getting-a-site-unblocked-by-o2-mobile-internet/ - hopefully people searching for this in the future will have an easier time!
