Phoning from Ghana to Uk

I am on a monthly contract and living in Ghana. How do I now make phone calls to the UK without being charged excessively? I’ve got the IPhone

Use Skype, etc.

Any of the free wifi apps as long as the other person has the app. Skype is your best bet as you can call landlines and mobiles free over wifi or add credit if there is no wifi.

But if there is no wifi for Skype you will be charged data fee's?
