Open Code - O2 mistake cost me £125

Anonymous

I am so disappointed with O2. I am a brand new customer after being with Orange for ten years. From the word go it has been mistake after mistake. My address, my name, my email… even after requesting the change, it just defaulted back to incorrect information. As a result an address I don’t know of has been receiving my correspondence.
The biggest balls-up is the Open Code. This is the reason I joined O2. My work has an agreement with O2 to allocate a £125 credit to new customers. Now I have joined, O2 refuse to give it to me. I would suggest that when I joined over the phone the customer service salesperson was prepared to say anything to get me to join and now when I try and reclaim my credit, I am being turned away and I am suffering for it to the tune of £125…

Just state the facts of what has gone wrong and what you want them to do to resolve it.

i'm in the same boat. the store says customer services have to sort it, and customer services say the opposite. Its quite frustrating.

I posted to ensure no other new customers are tricked like me.

Then expect to get moderated or even banned.

His title has been moderated already and I guess the body of the post will also!

For some reason my post was deleted? Well both of my posts. One of them to introduce myself, the other to help out one of the customers in this thread. No expletives or anything remotely controversial, just advice.
Don't quite understand why they were deleted, so if there's a moderator about that can explain, that'd be great.

Just to point out that if your sold a contract under false pretenses then under you belief the contract would be broke. However, the issue is you would have to prove this and would have to get O2 to provide you with the recorded phone call as evidence.  Otherwise its your word against theres. bear in mind that legally whats said is as contractually bounding as written but it just EXTREMELY hard to PROVE and they would proberly say its your fault.
