Off topic threads

Is there any reason why off topic threads have been removed from the recent threads list on main page?
Starting to get a bit uneasy round here recently tbh

Well I logged on earlier, and saw on main page a thread in relation to tgbbo.
Clicked on it, then read it, then went back to main page and only about 4 threads were showing Instead of usual 6.
The off topic threads were not displayed on the list of recent threads

Also when you click on 'view all topics'...it's there but with a red icon next to it?

You can see, 2 of the six removed, then a few minutes later..

It wasn't a case of replaced by new topics as you can see that the list was physically reduced until new topics filled the gaps.

That red icon is for when a topic is  a popular commented on thread with several replies as I've seen it lots of times

Looking at that above @viridis it appears they don't want off topic threads showing on the home page Latest Topics?

It took us a while to be able to reproduce it. Can you confirm? we will open a bug to Lithium asap!

• When you use Google Chrome

We only see 4 topics! 

 

We are checking on mobile too! We didn't do anything

So I have I but usually when a thread is still active...which some of the others certainly are!

I was using chrome on mobile, I logged out but still now I see 6, the 4 only showed for about 5 minutes then was populated again
