I bought a only plan, which took too long time to activate, and then they could not port my number from 3 network, they said they were trying and kept calling me every few days and told me nothing to worry about. Then they stopped. When I called them they said they couldn't port the number. From the beginning, I told them about porting my existing number and if it's not possible then I won't keep O2 number they agreed. So I asked them to cancel the contract they said I have to pay for all remaining contract time and the termination fee. So after arguing with rude customer services somewhere in the Philippines, I gave up. and decided not to cancel and just not use O2 because it was cheaper than canceling.
A couple of days ago I received an email that O2 is increasing the price and I have the right to cancel the contract, so I called them, but same ruse customer services, 1st she said I can cancel, but again she said I have to pay cancelation fee which was a lot more than actual contract.

You would be better off contacting the social media team.
They are based in the UK and have a good reputation.
