It's no secret that O2 is a great place to work - in fact, we were rated the 29th best place to work by Glassdoor this year, surrounded by some of the biggest global companies out there. And our CEO Mark Evans was voted the 13th top CEO this year too, with a massive 96% approval rating from employees.
See below some of the staff benefits and support available to them, taken from our Glassdoor page.
Staff benefits
Staff at O2 are well looked after, with countless benefits and support options available to us. Here's just some of the benefits offered to employees:
• Buy or sell up to 5 days’ holiday a year – so you can go on an extra-long break or earn some extra cash
• Critical illness insurance – to provide peace of mind
• Cycle to work scheme – to help you get to work the green way
• Our O2 Extras - our own discount site giving exclusive discounts from over 800 retailers
• Health assessment – to look after your wellbeing
• Learning fund – we’ll contribute to your learning from flying lessons to Zumba classes
Work / Life balance
Work/Life balance is also of huge importance to O2 and its employees. O2 knows life isn’t all about work, so they help employees enjoy the best of both worlds with a healthy work/life balance to ensure we don’t miss those special moments. O2 encourage their staff to take up all kinds of flexible working options, such as:
• Working from different locations if the role allows
• Full or part-time hours
• Paid maternity, paternity & adoption leave - 14 weeks full time pay for everyone at O2
• Paid time out for fostering and fertility treatment
Diversity & Inclusion
We love having a diverse team of people who bring new ideas and different strengths and perspectives to the party. Techies. Leaders. Bold thinkers. Supreme organisers. We’re on a journey together. So, we all have the same opportunities to grow, succeed and be more. Working with and learning from people from all walks of life makes every day an adventure.
Earlier this year we also introduced a transitioning toolkit for managers to support employees who are going through or considering starting a gender transition journey. You can read more on our transitioning toolkit here.
Just last month, during National Inclusion Week, we also announced that we had signed up to 'The Valuable 500', pledging our commitment to disability inclusion and strengthening O2’s pledge to become a leading inclusive employer.

It's not exactly difficult learning o2's systems. I doubt this is the criteria now because half the staff know diddly squat
