I just wonder @jonsie how far "5,700 postcodes" actually reaches ?

Potentially not a large area in a city the size of Manchester.

As a Liverpudlian I'm shocked. We only got 3,500 Postcodes.

A least Machester United is languishing

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Total Postcodes: The total number of postcodes in the "M" area is 58,623.

5,700 sounds a lot until compared with 58,623 ; and if postcodes in the city centre are involved, they might well be geographically more compact than those in the suburbs. 😀
