Hello. Just wondering what O2 users' experience of 4G speeds are like now that O2 purchased more spectrum recently? I left O2 because of the poor speeds, just wondering if their recent purchase has improved things, especially in Manchester area.

@DaveA  I don't think Manchester has improved much as @jonsie will confirm. However in Coventry and Nuneaton (Midlands) mine has always been very good.

I was in Manchester on yesterday morning and there is no improvement there at all. Luckily I was only travelling through to Wythenshawe where speeds are acceptable without being in any way remarkable.

Thank you both for replying and updating me regarding O2 in the Manchester area.

From your replies I can see there's no need to rush back to O2.

Thanks

It’s a bit of a frustration to be honest.

O2 for me are adequate rather than brilliant.

Depending where I am between Barry and Cardiff, speeds are averaging c 20mbs. On the plus side they don’t vary too much and tend to be stable.

But I cannot understand how O2 don’t have VOLTE calling in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales with over 360000 living there.. WHY NOT ?
