I had the iPhone 3g 2 years ago with 30% friends and family discount. and i upgraded my tarrif last month and the guy at the o2 store told me i ll still get the 30% discount... even i also received a letter which says 30% friends and family discount included on my tarrif. now when i checked my bill the discount was not there. it was taken off from my account.. but only my bill it still says 30% friends and family discount. i called in the customer service one of the staff said i have to login to o2 just for you and do it myself,, and i couldn't even login and register on that website so i called in again and the other staff said i cannot get the discount because they said they stopped doing it.. i can't understand... i thought i can get the discount until i am with o2... because i had it when it was there...
Can anyone suggest me what to do the discount back ??

Why do you get the discount, is it through your work or do you know someone who works for O2?

There has been a recent change regarding this discount.
It now drops off every time you upgrade.
The person who applied the discount originally has to re-apply for you.
This is to make sure that you're still eligible to get the discount.

Hi is the person who working in o2 gave you discount or you have got it yourself?
It should still be available
Dont trust customer services :robotindifferent:You do need to ask person who gave you discount to register this for you again

That's a big generalisation there, there are some excellent and dedicated people working in customer services, for a time I was one of em, albeit for another network, unfortunately there are also a few disinterested muppets,but hopefully you can tell when talking to someone which one they are. :grin:
