Has anyone else had this?
I ordered a new iPhone 6 Plus and paid more to have it delivered today before 10.30.
When I contacted O2 to find out why it hadn't I was told that they were out of stock and it would be delayed! I am sat at home having taken some time off and they didn't even have the courtesy to contact me to tell me.
Am I alone or is it commonplace? I think I might swap to another carrier and I have been a customer since it was BT Cellnet!

Seriously, cancel the order and tell them the reason why. Only problem will be you've probably paid for it already, so you'll have to wait to get your refund.
...and there lies the problem, money taken immediately and 7-10 days to get back.

I am constantly outraged that this continues to happen day after day to new customers who order in good faith.
We know because we see it all the time on here...but they are still fleecing the gullible.
This near to Christmas people haven't got an infinite amount of money to be taken out of their bank by unscrupulous O2...and then have to wait 7-10 days for them to return it.
I honestly wish we could do something about getting this sorry practice stopped
