No text confirmation of top up on PAYG

I topped up as usuall my PAYG account yesterday at my local PO with £10 as usual and usually within an hour or almost immediately get a text message confirming that transaction, however yesterday I didn't get one, which was unusual but doesn't worry me. 

I checked my O2 app and that confirms that indeed my account has been credited with that amount.

Strange?

What with the problems on the network last week and the issue showing balances on some accounts, I wouldn't be surprised.
I'm sure it will all get sorted out soon.

Yes, there was quite a major outage for a few hours and although fixed quite quickly some residual problems still exist.
