No service - Stafford 12 july

No service ST17. Stafford 07:44 12 July 2012. No notice on website in fact says system working no problems for this post code. On line help just tells me to go to customer service to get the bar lift off my phone. But I can't make a call! Come on O2 sort this out please

Some tricks i found for using the phone during this crash: For using the phone (call, recieve calls) : Put 3G in OFF (settings-general-network). Then your O2 signal will appear. For using 3G: Put 3G in ON (settings-general-network). BUT your phone (call, recieve calls and imessage) will not work. You can use other messaging programs. Hope this helps, RS

Turning 3G off has solved the calling problem. Thks. And I seem to be able to text and iMessage. But my faith in O2 to supply a reliable service is deminishing rapidly particular as their coverage in some areas is still unacceptably low.
