New Website Page

Today I attempted to view my bill. After logging on I was confronted with a new page saying that my user name and passs word had expired due to me not accessing the web site for a while and I had to choose new one's. (I had used the web site the day before). Not wanting to change them I contacted Customer Services, who informed me that there had been loads of complaints.
There's an old saying, IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT MEND IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem was that it was a bit broken before, hopefully it'll be more reliable now.
It looks as if everyone will be asked to change their user name to an email address.

Indeed. Just logged into my account and got asked to enter an email address which is now my new username for the o2 account. Thats all! No password change required though just a link to click on the email address used to verify.
I do recall that this may be in line with the forthcoming forum changes.

Just had to change mine to use webmail.
Do not use the rest of myo2 as a business customer.
I reckon this is all to do with the new forums that are in beta Testing at present

Methinks there will be a lot of complaints with this but for me it's not a problem. Some people just don't like change. As long as the old problems with hit & miss access is resolved.

Precisely !
But probably O2 didn't realise the outsourced contractor would complete the changes and press the "Go Live" button quite so soon grin

Still can't log in using my secondary username.
It amazes me that MyO2 recognises the secondary address for webmail purposes (emails download to OE) but will not now allow me to log in to MyO2 using it.

I just ignored it as well, adding "@o2.co.uk" to the end of it is does not improve logging in.
