NEW PHONE, SCREEN PROTECTORS

hey everyone, my new phone (galaxy ace) has just arrived, but without the screen protector i felt forced to order.. Lily (the o2 agent i spoke with) said i would not be able to use the protector once i put my fingers on the screen. is this true?? thanks 😕 x
