I need to access my incoming call history over the last few months, but these have disappeared, they don't show up, in fact all my call history between March and September this year have disappeared from my mobile (but the previous months do appear), but I need these to show in my recent call history.I don't know if O2 is responsible for this? When I rang O2 to ask for detailed can history between April and October, their staff were very rude, unhelpful, went silent on me, giggling in the background. Only on my 3rd attempt, when I asked to be connected to the complaint's department, their customer service staff started to take me seriously and listened for a change. All I wanted was to be provided with my call history including details of incoming calls, but she said O2 only provides details of the calls I have made, not calls I have received and that they have no information about my incoming calls (How unbelievable!). I have never experienced this kind of treatment and unhelpful behaviour from my previous mobile providers. I suspect O2 removed all details of incoming call history for the months I asked for, behind my back. This dreadful, unhelpful, dismissive experience with O2 has left me feeling I have no reason to stay with O2, and won't recommend it to anyone.

The only way you can get a copy of incoming calls and messages is from your phone. O2 can only provide you with calls or texts made from your mobile number they can provide the date, time and dialled number of calls and texts that you’ve made.
These records are only retained for 12 months. They cannot provide the date and time of calls and texts received, or their originating number.
If you need incoming and dates, times or the phone numbers of calls or texts you’ve received (these are available on production of a Court Order only as they are classed as third party disclosure).

O2 systems only record your outgoing calls
Any incoming calls are or should be on your device call logs
You would need a court order involving the police in a criminal case in order for O2 to release the records
Customer service cannot access this information on their systems due to data protection so any request would result in the response you got today (not the giggling)
Unless your records are backed up on icloud you are out of luck
