ive heard of a few n8's shipping that keep rebooting , apparent faulty motherboards was one case after a user visited a service centre
iam part of nokia users and use the n8 daily me and most of the forum members are loving the n8
it shouldnt be rebooting on you mate
we have two in the house and one hasnt been switched off for what 6 days now and no reboots just lots of intensive use and charging
how old is the phone
id defently look at geting it swapped or fixed as unless you have corrupt software installed like a dodgy game or app not designed for s3 causing problems then it defently shouldnt be doing this

just return it back within the cooling off period for a different mobile or an exchange.
