I’ve just arrived in Spain and although my phone connected to Movistar for voice calls, my mobile browsing was not working.
i contacted o2 on the telephone who advised me to complete the following steps
1.general
2.Transfer or reset iphone
3.Reset
4.Reset network settings
5.restart phone
6.select browsing provider as movistar
unfortunately, this did not work, as an old eSIM from a previous overseas trip had a contact still pointing to it.
i deleted the eSIM and contact and only then could repoint my data roaming to Movistar.
Hopefully this extra step can help others who have been unable to connect to mobile browsing.
