Hi All

Hoping someone can guide me to a path of sanity.

I lost my phone and put a bar on the calls,data etc, insurance has replaced the phone.

New sim from store all activated but O2 are telling me it will take 5-10 days to get the barring lifted.

Is this really the case!

I have called customer service and be told by various agents, its a resource issue, integration of virgin and o2 systems,standard time and a temporary technical issue.

How it can take this long is beyond belief.

Plenty of customers having this problem at the moment

I think it is a definite system issue possibly caused by 'seamlessly' integrating Virginmedia customers but compounded by changing all customers over to a new billing platform

Probably end of 2024/25 before that has been completed!

@Zachar00nie

It isn't the outcome that anyone would have wanted, most of all O2.

I think that you are asking that question of @Zachar00nie ; tagging him thus will bring you to his attention.
