58% is a big increase in one year, but so much of what we do now uses more and more data. Also, the size of apps just seems to grow and grow these days with daily updates, catching you out if you have wifi switched off!

58% increase in use.. I wonder what the increase in capacity was?
Now that is a good challenge, but I bet you know the answer

A slightly different take on that this weekend @Bambino
I was away and no wifi available. I don't have a large data allowance on my phone so took my pc with me complete with 3 mobile dongle. This has never failed me at all. It did this weekend. The connection kept dropping out. So not happy with that at all.

Well @Cleoriff, 5G is supposed to sort all that out (theoretically). Unfortunately it's still probably years away in the UK, although they're supposed to be working on it. I don't even know if the spectrum has been auctioned off yet? @adamtemp64 would probably know the answer to that.

@adamtemp64lives close to where we were (I think)
The dongle was Three 3G and has worked every time we have been to Brean....but as I said on this occasion, I may as well have left it at home.:smileysad:

@Bambino https://www.ofcom.org.uk/about-ofcom/latest/media/media-releases/2018/results-auction-mobile-airwave... and some free spectrum for point to point use fixed wireless to aid 5g in the 60ghz band
brean is a few miles away @Cleoriff but historically 3 are poor in my part of somerset !

Thanks @adamtemp64, though I have used Three the last couple of times we went and had no problems.
Maybe it was because we were in a different park to Unity this year?.
When we got home, I tried it immediately and it worked perfectly.
Out of interest, what do you suggest for a data sim in Somerset?
