I can’t buy an Apple Watch.

Hi there, I want to purchase an Apple Watch and the website rejects the application just before the credit check.

 

At the time I thought that, perhaps, because my phone was out of contract they wouldn’t let me sign up for one.

 

anyway, last week I ordered the new iPhone 16 pro on pre order and that went through fine. I then attempt to order the Apple Watch and I get the same rejection.

 

does anyone know what might be going on here?

I took your advice and called them and went thought the application by phone. I also failed to pass the Eligibility check by phone, however, they were not able to provide a reason for this.

I have a good credit rating and have never missed a payment to them. The person on the phone did mention that I should try again in 30 days time.

My current running theory is that I tried to get an Apple watch whilst not being tied into a phone contract, I have now purchased the new iPhone and suspect that once the cancellation period is over I will match their eligibility or at least that is my hope.

Does anyone else have any experienced anything similar?
