How do you cancel a sim only contract?

Could anyone tell me how I go about cancelling my sim only contract?

I am wanting to change contracts and it seems I can get the handset £50 cheaper by purchasing the phone and contract as a new customer rather than upgrading.

Speak to Retentions on 202 (choose the thinking of leaving o2) and see what they can do.

They are great guys and norm go out of the way to help
