Hey everyone,
We recently introduced the Product Mentions feature to the O2 Community allowing you to tag or mention products and link out to the shop page for that product. We've started with the recent launch of the Galaxy S10 range and are hoping to widen the use towards other devices in the future.
As this feature is so handy, we thought it would be really useful to add our community guides to the mentions so you can link to them without having to search around for a hyperlink!
The original plan was to prefix each guide with "Guide:" then the title of the guide. However, while setting this up, we discovered a bug with the feature which will prevent us from having many mentions that start with the same word.
While we wait for the bug to be fixed we thought it would still be good to get the mentions up and running, using a keyword for each guide instead. For example, we could use "pac" for the PAC guide and "lost" for the lost and stolen guide.
There are a few things we'd like to ask you about:
This feature will mainly be used by you, so we're really interested in hearing your thoughts, suggestions and ideas!

→ Access for You: Registration - Find out how to register for our Access for You service.

→ Have a query about your account? login to My O2 for help
If you'd like to take part, why not register?

That's fine then @Martin-O2. A great idea in fact.

Although I was not involved with any of the guides and don`t have the technical ability to do so, I would like to add my thoughts. I think that as the proposed idea won`t replace the existing content and guides and with the examples given by @MI5 and shown by @jonsie ; its a great idea and I would certainly use it if I needed the info.

Nice to see you got them working @jonsie !
I'm still in the process of adding all the guides which I'm doing in order of popularity (based on recent views) so I'll let you know when their all done.
For the key words, the system is quite forgiving and you can use pretty much any word that's in the title to find the guide! I'll still add as list somewhere but as long as you know some of the title they should be easy to find.
Thanks @Mi-Amigo ! This should make the whole process of linking to a guide quicker and easier but will leave everything in place as is.
