I have Gmail on my mobile and use it only to get emails from O2 (to topics I have posted on)

Up till yesterday morning all working fine. It's still working now but emails are coming in with a changed format

For instance....yesterday morning my emails were displayed like this...

Normal/Usual format

From yesterday afternoon they changed to this....

So when I investigated this red question mark this is what it told me...

Totally confused by this. I have been using Gmail for O2 notifications since last November with absolutely no issues....so why now am I being presented with a question mark as if gmail is no longer recognising O2 as a genuine site?

You asked weeks ago about you noticing an exclamation mark against o2 emails in gmail. It's just an extension of the same.
You can mark the domain as trusted and it will stop but as with all changes it will take a while for the servers to learn the changes.

Yet another glitch in an O2 system....at least you're still receiving them.

Same here,
I'm thinking it's just a security feature within Gmail so people can identify junk, unfortunately tho, the same system cannot identify the original sender?
Maybe @Toby can see if anything has changed o2's end

It's been like this for ages for me.
It's just part of gmails spam filtering system.
No need for any mass panic.

I wasn't panicking (much) Fear

I just thought it strange that it started to happen yesterday afternoon when up till then it had been fine. Also.... many of you will know I lost all emails from O2 when I was relying on Bt Internet to receive them.... that was the reason I changed to Gmail. I hoped it wasn't pre-empting another 'emails linked to O2 disaster'....

Is this just since GMail updated the other day?

I use a throwaway yahoo address for the community so haven't noticed any difference.

Never noticed it updating @jonsie. Just a bit weird it was the same as always yesterday morning then changed in the afternoon?....As I say the emails are still coming in so no problem really...other that gmail isn't recognising O2 as authenticLOL
