Free texts via website

I can't send free texts anymore. I have changed my mobile & re-registered, but when I try to send a free text on the computer, I get a message saying that "there is an internal fault, please try later".
This has been going on for a couple of weeks.
I have registered again. Same result!

The two registrations will cause a conflict if they are for the same mobile number. If you have the same number on both, log in to the one you no longer use and change the associated number to 07000000000 or similar (has to start 07 and have the right number of characters).
If it's not that then I don't know, as that works when I've done it.

How do I do that? I registered with the same details both times. When I log on, how do I change my phone number?

My wife has registered with o2 website, & she gets the same error message!
I've contacted o2, but they don't read the details, & tell me stuff about my bill etc. (standard letter)
I'm not an o2 customer!
The website is on moneysavingexpert, but there's nothing said about being an o2 customer.
