Just putting this up in case others are having problems... but can read topics...
The forum was offline for me (Midlands based) for 3 hours this morning 7am -10am. I could actually see that some members who live in the North were able to log on...
Happening a lot just lately and not sure if Forum Management are aware?:smileysad:

Hi @Anonymous
Can you please explain what this is referring to? Will it aid me in fixing the forum issues for you all?

I think it's the term "guys" Toby.
I think gerry is insinuating that by definition, he is not a "Guy".

Hello @Toby - contrary to @viridis comment I was not insinuating any such thing. I simply inserted some information regarding the definition(s) of the word "guy" (use of which I have commented on another thread in the past few weeks). It certainly will be of no help whatever to you or anyone in fixing the display issues being encountered by Forum users. I hope, however, that you will allow me to make the following observation. This topic has contributions relating amongst other things to a Ms Kardashian's physique, dysfunctional families and the Welsh soccer team but I can see no queries from any member of the Community Team as to whether those contributions would facilitate resolution of the technical problems that are the subject of the topic. I cannot help but wonder why my input (OT and silly though it may be) should have been singled out for this "put down" - in other cases a general slap on the wrist for wandering off topic would have sufficed with perhaps deletion or judicious editing of the "offending" message.

Hi Gerry,
It was because you referenced exact words in my earlier post, so my questioning was due to that, not that fact that the comment was off-topic in any way.
Thanks for the explanation of your post :).
