Dear friends I have decide to buy SG S4. From all sites coming offers with some Flapy Birds  RARE game which I never heard about until it come out that no more downloads will be available. Dont want catch bird flu or have any animal in my fone, even clean my fones with anti-germ wipes and using anti-virus. What the hell the sellers think, that I will buy overpriced phone with some stupid game? Never had any game in my phone or played any, I 'm only reading books and watching movies, navi, mails, calling, transfering, copying, editing. So can anyone please explain me why should someone buy a phone with Flapy Birds. It is so rare that every phone for sale has it? Do our smartphones turning into game phones?

If you're on android you can still get it, for free, by downloading off the 'net rather than direct from app store.  Google is your friend, no rooting involved.  I'm not sure, but I think there are alternate versions available on Google Play.

If you're on iOS you can still get it for free, by jailbreaking, which the forum can't condone (me either for what its worth).  Much more condonable is that there are alternative flappy bird games avaialble (flappy bee, anyone?) that are freely available on the iOS app store.

So, don't fall pray to these rip off merchants!

Hi @Anonymous

I know we cant discuss modding iPhones etc but how does doing the thing we cant talk about allow you to get the game ?

Lol, it sounds like Harry Potter and the person we can't name or talk about !!

Probably better discussing via PM rather than tempting/encouraging people to jailbreak via forum chat (which was completely uninteneded) slight_smile

I've got it downloaded to my laptop but I really can't see anyone going through with the sale on eBay so fear it may be more trouble than it's worth.
I'm surprised eBay haven't pulled the phones off auction, but then again, it's revenue for them....

Anyone who sells a phone on eBay is breaching thier rules by not restoring to factory defaults before sending the phone to the end user, which negates the point of buying a phone with a certain app on it...

Apparently they are resetting the phones (to remove personal data) but then installing flappy birds from a desktop backup.
