I had an email today regarding O2 connect, not quite the same as a fem but still good if you have limited reception.
"O2 Connect 1st Edition Trial
Congratulations! You've been selected to take part in the O2 Connect 1st Edition Trial.
We're running the trial over the next three months and will be inviting new batches of successful applicants to join the trial every two weeks. When we're ready to invite you onto the trial, you'll receive an email telling you how to download and get started with O2 Connect. This helps us to manage your feedback, as well as giving us time to fix any bugs and problems as quickly as possible."
Seems it will work with iphone and android. Wonder if you have to have o2 broadband though because im swapping to BT infinity over the next few weeks.

They're not cheap, but check out the Coiler SH-900.
Some of my clients use them to boost 900MHz signal in office enviroments.
