Did O2 exclude EU roaming?

I bought my SIM only contact in March, which included EU roaming. Today I got an email stating it was a mistake, and hence they are going to charge! They are literally changing my contract after 6 months of use. How is this possible?

Roaming in the EU zone has not been ended.

Only provisos are max 25GB per charge period

Not roaming for more than 63 days in any 180 day period

As far as I am aware roaming with O2 has not ended. Maybe contact O2 to get clarification
