Has anyone on here ever complained via email? I've been having problems and going over the phone is getting me nowhere so I've resorted to emails just so I have a record of communications and I'm not sure how long I should wait before expecting a reply?
Thanks!

I am really and absolutely disappointed with O2, which has been my chosen network for over 10 years now. Sent them an email with all my details and what my issue was, its been over a week now and I'm still waiting for a reply. My oppinion of the network's customer service is really starting to shift. Cos lets be honest, we put up with a lot of things other networks have as standard, such as free voicemail and free message delivery reports for example, and yet, we have to be comtempt with such low customer services and after services? Im really starting to reconsider... I'll just wait for the reply, which by my books, is already quite late.
Disappointing O2/Telefonica...

Stupid suggestion but for people awaiting email responses, have you checked that you sent it to the correct address, and have you checked your spam/junk inboxes in case your email provider chucked it in there?

Hi all

I have been with o2 for over ten years now and upgraded over a year ago to an I-phone, when I upgraded in the o2 shop I was asked if I wanted to carry on with my insurance, I said yes and have been paying it for over a year. three days ago I dropped it and the screen broke but it still works perfectly.

I called o2 and they informed me I had the wrong insurance and should have upgraded it when I upgraded my phone, although they have been happy to take my money for the insurance for over a year and it was sold to me as a package in thier shop by thier salesman.

Any way they said they would honour the insurance and put me onto thier insurance department, "yes we can get your phone changed for you in a couple of days" said the guy on the phone, oh but there is an excess to pay ( I thought an excess was to help with some of the costs) of £150, "what" I am a heavy phone user and although I have been paying insurance for over a year o2 want to charge me £150 excess for a repair I can get done anywhere for £50.

Does this sound fair, comments please

My views on o2 insurance have been aired before on here.

But The excess was why we left along with high monthly fees.

But apple will do an out of warranty swap for £119 for iphone 4 and older models or £139 4s as long as it is not in loads of seperate bits and you get a 3 month warranty
