Can somebody explain why, if I disconnect from the Community without logging off, I can reload the page an hour or so later without being required to log on again ?
I've never had this occur with any other website.

Me again

Would you possibly mind testing this for me in the next few days?
If you could PM me:
- The time you exit the community.
- Return time and duration of gap.
- If you are asked for log back in again.
- If you are using a mobile of laptop and if so, what device.
That would be extremely helpful.
Cheers!

I use partial saves with the forms. If yiu clear all cookies and autoforms as suggested. Then you will be forced to log in and then choose if you want to save the details or not.

Firefox doesn't store passwords securely.
Why should anyone clear all of their cookies and autoforms to resolve a problem on a single site? Doing this means they need to enter their usernames and passwords on all sites they visit.
Stop giving poor advice.

Oh sorry oh wise one....
Firstly I wasn't talking about Firefox, it was Chrome however the platform they use is very similar. Or at least the functionality. Firefox should provide a basic form of security by storing your passwords in a unreadable format otherwise what's the point of the password manager?
Anyway I did a little research and whilst passwords are still accesible from the address bar with the right address entered; the developers are aware of this and may have patched it by now.
You what gets me is, other people say things that are wrong and you don't cast up aspersions.
Nothing is 100% secure and it was always be the case that there is flaws. For what it counts, using a Master Password will encrypt any saved passwords in Firefox.
