...as it sounds like some information on users and e-mail addresses but not passwords has been stolen from an internal (to Google) Salesforce system by a hacker group - this info may be useful for scammers to try social engineering phishing tactics to obtain further info or to gain access to credentials by cold-calling or spam e-mailing unsuspecting Gmail users with realistic-sounding "excuses".

If people are getting more spam that is down to threat actors finding your email address on pwnd lists etc or dictionary attacks...
