Are O2 shops open on New Years Day 2015?

Sorry of this has been asked already, I could only find discussions about this from last year - and even those were somewhat inconclusive.

Live chat is notoriously unreliable. Use the link provided and call your local store.

Certainly not open in my neck of the woods...but then on a normal weekday they never open till 10am anyway!

Every other provider opens up to pull in customers...Not O2 though...Evil

WAIT: I just checked with an advisor on Live Chat - here is (redacted) copy and paste of my chat:

Me: Do you know if O2 shops are open on New Years Day?

Advisor: at 18:32:23

Yes, they'll be open xxx.

Now I'm a little confused!

No more than the Live Chat operative.......you'd get a more sensible answer from your neighbour LOL

Surely it's best to post messages here telling people that the shops are all closed, then use the opportunity to visit the local one yourself and get the undivided attention of the staff 🙂

My experience of the live chat is that it's excellent, the operatives are polite and friendly, always giving you answers quickly.

Of course, the answers may not be correct or very useful, but at least it's a fun way to spend 15 minutes talking with someone new, eh?
