I purchased an upgrade through Mobile Phone Direct earlier this week as going through O2 direct was hugely more expensive. However I've found out that I've been migrated to the new 360 system and MPD are saying that they are not able to process my upgrade as yet and they are working with O2 to get this sorted. I have been given no ETA and I've just been left hanging. I'm also concerned it's going to take so long that I won't be able to take advantage of the Samsung cashback deal they are doing presently.
Also does anyone know if I get a new contract (which I've been told will be on the old system) I'd then be able to migrate my number across?? Or am I stuck whatever I do?
Has anyone's upgrade actually gone through as they say they are doing this manually? Or am I going to be waiting for months to get my new phone through? I find this ridiculous that this migration is causing so many issue.

The only way around this issue currently is to get your PAC for the old contract and put it on a PAYG sim on another network, then get a PAC from that and port back into your new O2 contract.

Omg!!! What a pain. Its either this or wait until MPD can sort it with O2?
