Android 5.0 for Samsung Galaxy S4

This forum will hopefully have some good feedback with everyone at the O2 Community, any questions you got about the near update for the Android Lollipop - my one main question is WHEN! 

I personally think when the roll out for UK will be around Feb, but that will prob be the unloacked version first then the carriers will be afterwards, correct me if I am wrong, this is just a guess....

Anyways question or answer here will great.

We don't know if and when Samsung will release it for the S4 yet - It will take O2 a month at least after that.
Chris_k has already said he will update us when he has the info.....

It's been released for the Google Play Edition, but it's anyone's guess when the O2 branded version will get it.

GPE phones are controlled directly by Google (same as Nexus devices) so unfortunately is no indication of when Samsung will release it for their phones 😞

This article seems to suggest early 2015, and there's also hints about the Note 4 too, which I'm sure will be of interest to you @MI5 and to @jonsie

Expectation would be Note 4 and S5 first but it all depends when they plan on releasing S6 as they might hold back until that is launched.....
