Today I received an email petition about stopping 5G. It was about to be deleted when I noticed it had come from a highly educated friend, one of whose off spring is a foreign correspondent. So I researched and there seems to be scientific concern over 5G, its high microwave output etc.

North Korea has a full 5G network and they have no major concerns. Mixed responses according to this BBC health article

@Jenny105 Radio waves are and have always been, all around us.
Without them, we would not have TV, Radio or mobile phones.
5g is just like your wifi at home.

well done @Bambino
I remember @Jenny105 when people were scared of microwave ovens! in case their kidneys got cooked
along with the meal! Originally these were only used by companies preparing fast food,
staff were understandably concerned
"quote from internet"
Microwaves are a hot topic in the health community (pun intended!), and the internet is full of claims that they leak radiation, destroy nutrients, change the chemical structure of food to become toxic, and pose a wide variety of health risks.

You see people who refuse to buy houses if they are near to a phone mast. All ridiculous really. The ONLY reason I wouldn't one 'in my back garden' is because they are so damn ugly. Having said that, if I had a very poor signal I might have one next door...
