Well I went to the Newcastle store yesterday and bought some screen savers for my iphone .... gave the man my phone with the voucher message .... he typed it in and guess what ?? Invalid !!!! he went to another computer and typed stuff in and came back with my phone and gave me the screen savers ! No idea what was wrong there then ...
My husband never ever received the message about the voucher, but yesterday he got a text to say 'If you top up before 9th September we will add £10 to your balance ... well that was a good offer even though he hardly uses the phone and it still had over £7 in balance, I topped it up for him with £10 .... new balance £17. 12 .... great .... then got message 'Thanks for topping up... we've added your £10 allowance for calls, text or data. You can use this any time to the end of 27 September 2012' !!!!! what ??? The balance is still £17.12. and no extra has been added and the original £7 he had on would last him for weeks - what now ... by the end of this month will they then take off the £10 I just put on for him ??
This is just a con and I am very annoyed about it ... and would appreciate a name and phone number to ring to sort it out .......
