iphone 5 signal problems

Anonymous

First post, had a quick look through the forums but nothing really spefic found that matches my problem so thought i'd ask.

I keep having lots of problems with my signal (grimsby area) and alot of the time texts don't send, I've now noticed while at home texts won't send at all if im connected to my home wi-fi.

According to "three" network, there is a problem with the main mast in Grimsby and they are aware of problems, but according to o2 everything is fine, it clearly isn't.

I can't remember the last time i didn't have to switch my phone off every so many hours to try and get signal, it used to have a full signal bar but now even that is disappearing and coming up with no service.

O2 want me to swap my sim, but the problem with that is having to wait 24 hours to get that sorted, time i dont have due to job (emergency services) and so im not sure if anyone else is having any similar problems or can advice on best option?

The signal coverage checker shows i should have full signal, i know its probably going to be less than it should be but currently have 1 bar out of 5 this is extrememly normal though and also the status checker says everything is fine
