At the moment I have an iPhone X and Iām looking forward to upgrading towards and Xs, I saw a really good deal from a second hand seller, however the phone is blocked to the o2, right now I am o2 pay monthly costumer, I was wondering if I buy the new phone (blocker to the o2) will I be able to unlock it with my sim card? I tend to travel abroad sometimes so having an unlocked phone is quite important.
Thank you for your help.

Yes you will be able to unlock it with your O2 sim card either using the form or via My O2. Just use the phone for a day so that the IMEI registers on the network and then request the unlock.

Where are you buying the phone if you don't mind me asking?

@Miguel0717 Your phone, and the one you're interested in, should not be locked. Have you tried another network sim in it? If for some reason it is locked, take a look at this guide: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1...
