Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

I'm astonished that customer services would suggest that it's the customer who doesn't understand delivery dates. My experiences of dealing with both customer services and live chat have been risable, closely resembling taking on a one legged man in an arse kicking contest...

Oh it gets better!!
I phoned o2 and i was told my order is expected to be in on friday and it should be with me within 24 hours of coming in, then i received an email about 10 minutes ago telling me my order hasnt come in yet!!
the chain of communications so far is as follows:
Ordered iphone 20th September pay £260 promised delivery 1-3 weeks
Receive a text 29th telling me its delayed
receive a text 30th tellign me its delayed
receive a text 2/10 tellign me its delayed
receive a text 7/10 tellign me its delayed
Then it gets good.......
Speak to O2 online yesterday 14/10 and am told it is in stock and will be with me in 7-10 days
Receive a text today at 11:52 telling me it isnt in stock and it is still delayed
Speak to O2 today at 13:05 who confirm it is still delayed and i will be waiting another 2-3 weeks
Receive an email at 13:45 telling me my order is being processed and will be despatched shortly
Speak to O2 at 15:30 and they tell me order is going to be with me Saturday
Receive an email at 19:20 telling me my phone hasnt come in yet and they will keep me updated every week
If this isnt the ultmate definition of incompetent morons then i dont know what is! i am totally dumbfounded at the minute and now do not believe a single word they say to me!

I am seriously starting to wonder if o2 have breached some form of agreement with Apple and they are purposely restricting supply to o2 specifically. Could explain why they seem to have such a severe shortage of handsets. EE and Three have plenty of nearly all models. Vodafone have more than o2 available but still have shortages. I have never known a fiasco like this and feel that o2 should at least have an expected date of delivery for the phones. They should then be competent enough to let people know rough dates they can expect their phones (give or take a day or two) so people aren't just left hanging with nothing.

O2 just proved that they have the worst customer service out there!!!
I placed an order in the shop on the 16th of Septmeber and was told its a 3 weeks wait.
Of course it was delayed but I'm not that bothered about that.
Today I checked the status on my order and was told in the store that I'm not even on any list (even though I have a receipt that proves my payment of £129).
I was then told that I'm now being added to the list but at the back of the queue so its again a 4 to 6 weeks wait.
I mean they all acknowledge that it was their fault but refuse to do anything about it.
Of course I complained to custiomer services (I'm a Platinum customer which we all know means nothing) and all they told me was: "Oh. thats so unfortunate. There is nothing we can do but place a new order for you and you will join the queue again. Its a 4 to 6 weeks wait."
To make it up to me they offered a free case...... WOW a free case....... They can take that free case and...
Anyway, went to carphone warehouse where I was promised a delivery on the 25th of October (so basically just 10 day turnaround) on the exact same identical iphone model and O2 contract.
EE seamed to have a great offer to so I just got my PAC code, will cancel my order tomorrow and go elsewhere.
So much for O2's customer service.....

EE are saying they have them in stock and deliver in one day.
And CPW say delivery expected 17th – 24th October.
Are they all big fat liars or what?
