iPhone 5 camera problem

Anonymous

Hi everyone,

I have an iPhone 5 and when I go onto the camera on SnapChat, there are sometimes red lines which are blurry.

Does anyone know why? It doesn't happen all the time and if I swap cameras it works again.

Many thanks in advance.

Try a reboot by pressing the top button and home Button until the apple logo appears and let go.

So the camera work ok when taking a normal pic.

Try closing down the snap chat app and try again or delete it and re download it.

Hey,

I've tried closing down Snapchat and re-downloading it. It works fine when taking a normal picture.

Regards

Are these lines going around the circle you would press to take a picture in Snapchat?

If so it is, then this shows how much longer you have to take the video. You have ten seconds to capture whatever you like before it will automatically end it. The video captures audio just like vine.

To get rid of it, either take a video then just delete it or keep doing what you have been doing by switching cameras

The only other thing I can think of would be to delete the app then re-install it.

Hi,

No- this is actually lines streaking down the camera itself, not Snapchat. I know it's not on the lense, either.

Many thanks though for your help, however.

I have looked it up, thanks.

Seems like a lose connection. It hasn't happened again, though, so will see how it goes!

If it does happen, am I under warranty?

Warranty is 12 months from apple unless you purchased apple care +

That's if it's hardware/ software and not the actual app.
