I'm a little disappointed with this release - I expected a few more changes - but i'm grateful of the improvement of the calendar app
Also, I am glad that Apple have addressed the issue of the homescreen freezing/rebooting - as mentioned in a previous thread, I had issues with that and I had to completely restore my phone twice to get that problem to go away.

Yes I like the new layout - although at first I wanted to throw my phone (bit OTT I know) because I thought the app had not changed, but then I noticed the icon at the top. I would describe it as a mixture of the old and new features.

I agree - at least Apple have corrected their error in that they tried to make a dramatic change (which could of gone either way - like Marmite) and most people have given negative comments about the change and therefore Apple went backwards in their developments to the safe option. I think that Apple need to get more feedback from users and what they want and need and then maybe some helpful changes (to most people) can be made on the next update.
